dg’s

DG was an experimental rock and art band created in artist Laura Kim’s CalArts’ Studio in 2008.  The name was chosen by both artists as an abbreviation for Drums Guitar. The project produced a number of experimental tracks and performed publicly once.  The project dismantled in 2010. The DG’s below served as “potential track images” for Wrinkle in a potential visual collaboration between the two artists and potentially for album content.
